Been laying low for the past few weeks in October, just enjoying life and the cool weather we have been getting in ATX. Been working on several photo-sets for Miss Ellie when I found this set that had this crazy graffiti on the wall behind her. Funny thing is, it said dumb bitch...LOL, if it was any other girl I might of been concerned to edit it out however I knew Ellie would get a kick out of this. So I sent her the photos last week with out saying a word and as soon as she got them I got the funniest phone message needing to know if I photoshoped it in, b/c if I did I F**king rock and if I did'nt I F**king rock! Nope, just one of those funny photographic surprises and I am so glad we both got a good laugh out of it and I thought I would share.

( 3 / 105 )Last week I got wet filming Ruby Day playing in an exotic stream out in west Texas. Luckily I prepared for this outing since Ruby was ribbing me about not getting in the water during the last shoot. So I grabbed my aqua socks and a pair of trunks and decided to give Ruby a run for it, needless to say she actually kept me running for it. It turned out to be a great way to keep cool with the 106 degree Texas heat. We had a great time and ended up following Ruby over rocks, waterfalls, and into pools of water, Ruby loved it and pushed us all further up stream to deeper water that got us all wet. Luckily we kept the gear dry, not sure how after some of the craziness...LOL

( 3 / 102 )Yesterday we had a very interesting shoot. Ruby Day came to me with a fox tail butt plug that she had been dying to wear so we decided to finally make a go of it. Mostly we had been looking for the right location and after last weeks outdoor shoot we came upon some possibilities. When we arrived at the location we decided to take a hike further up stream where we arrived at the perfect spot. We had all the fixings to make this scene just pop. Even though we had a great time I do have to say that this shoot was work, I spent most of the time trying to keep my balance standing on rocky sloped embankments or on my knees crawling through the foliage along the stream bed. Not sure if we have been just lucky or what but so far we have not run into any snakes, knock on wood. I hate snakes! However, after about 2 hours of stomping through the forest we where all pretty beat and needed some food and a bath. The good news is we got the footage we where looking for and Ruby was such a trooper making sure we had the perfect shots.

( 3.1 / 112 )Had a great shoot on Tuesday with Ruby Day out in the middle of the Hill Country. We started shooting our first of a series of outdoor HD erotic videos. It was great, I had never really done a shoot such as this one but I was very impressed with everyone's attitude with the hike and getting dirty, even buggy out in the woods. It was a bit of a hike to find this location but it was well worth it by the time we got there and everyone was really excited to get started. This spot looked like something out of a fairy tale with a small fresh water spring fed brook on the other side which I will post some pics later of that, it is a whole story in itself.
This was also the first day for Patrick, the new assistant to be on set shooting behind the scenes photography. The shoot was a success in so many ways and we got some great footage as well as some really great behind the scenes photos. The first set of behind the scenes photos by Patrick just posted today on RubysDiary.com I have to say it rocks having an extra hand when you are crawling through the woods trying to get the perfect shot. Patrick is a very talented photo journalist and I have a feeling we will be seeing some great work from him. Here are a few shots from the days shoot...

( 3 / 60 )Wow it has been a crazy year so far, not sure how all the rest of you are doing but what a year. After returning from the 2009 AVN Awards Show this past January the pace has picked up for my beautiful muse Ruby Day.
Swamped with many new concepts and directions I have barely had a chance to come up to breath let alone keep my blog updated. Ugg I will try to recap..LOL.

Been shooting an urban erotica project that has pushed me to get out of the studio and into the public arena where I have been working with several new models on location to create some very fun and exciting outdoor day shoots.
This is a pic from a fun day shoot with Ellie. While we were running around downtown Austin doing a erotic flashing shoot we ran across a UPS man and she had the great idea to jump in the back and surprise him so we had to get a shot. The funny thing is that we had several on looks that got a kick out of Ellie flashing her self to while being in the back of the truck. Ellie is such a fun model to break out of the norm with. Always love shooting with her.
